We've come a long way
The innovative Kitchen Garden Program has grown from one pilot project in 2001 to become a growing national food education revolution, because of the shared commitment and passion of parents, teachers, principals and these wonderful partners.
They have seen the Program as one way of supporting a healthier, more balanced approach to life for Australian children through the encouragement of enjoying fresh foods harvested from the garden they have created and tended.
With the Kitchen Garden National Program beginning late 2008, we are truly beginning to realise our vision of a healthier and happier generation of Australian children. You can be part of this positive change.
